INCLUSIONVILLE – The Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Council of Excellence (DIECE) hosted their inaugural Community Conversation Webinar on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020. DIECE hosted the Community Conversation to invite in colleagues, stakeholders and supporters of inclusion to discuss diversity and inclusion initiatives in sport. Additional Community Conversations will be held in the future.
The inaugural Community Conversation served as an introduction to DIECE. The Board of Directors gave a brief overview of DIECE and also did a live Q&A session with participants. You can see the inaugural webinar below!
DIECE’s 3 guiding principles are:
1. To connect all DEI leaders in college athletics
2. To learn and engage with strategies, best practices, policies, and initiatives that work towards inclusive excellence
3. To grow the reach and intentionality of DEI in college athletics
